Services available
Case Studies on this site show examples of some rehabilitation benefits ARMS can introduce.
In addition to these, ARMS also conducts Health and Disability Related Training. This has been regularly provided to the NHS, Social Services Departments, Independent Care Agencies, Care Homes, The Remand Service, Colleges and Universities. It has ranged from manual handling training to training in rehabilitation, wheelchair training, training on different medical conditions, disability awareness, assertiveness training, and risk assessment and management.
ARMS input has resulted in greater knowledge and staff satisfaction resulting in lower staff turnover and sickness levels, has shown regulatory bodies that staff and organisations are complying with quality initiatives, and (with commercial organisations) has helped to make the organisation more attractive to potential customers.
Work comes from various sources and ARMS has experience of claimant, defendant, and joint instructions. ARMS is highly experienced in quantifying the type of disability, type and amount of rehabilitation required, and the type and cost of adaptations and assistive equipment required for the claimant to live with the consequence of their injuries.
The detailed reports and follow up advice provided by ARMS provides useful information in the settlement of cases.
ARMS provides business and professional support to OTs in independent practice.
This service optimises the potential profitability of businesses by allowing structured, co-ordinated growth and professional supervision so as to show evidence of CPD as required for registration with the Health Professions Council.
The mentorship programme is run in partnership with CDIT Solutions who provide IT related consultancy including:
- Website and Marketing material production
- Development of productivity tools
- IT Procurement guidance
- General IT support
